We prepare our products in our commercial kitchen in historic Union Square in Somerville, Massachusetts in a traditional way by hand prepping, chopping, picking and visually inspecting every ingredient so that they taste like they were just made fresh. Using 100% all natural and farm fresh ingredients, the tomato sauces are slow cooked starting with the fresh onion or garlic sauté, so that each ingredient releases its full flavor; the fresh organic herbs are only added at the end so they maintain their integrity; the pesto sauces are gently blended and the cheeses added by hand to guarantee a beautiful texture and color. We then sauté and simmer the ingredients in small batches and layer the flavors, cooking them slowly, so you can experience the true homemade Italian taste – even from a jar - imagine that!

...Spicy Tomato Sauce
The spicy flavor of this sauce immediately evokes madness amidst the habanero pepper and parsley juxtapositions on the palate. |
| Ingredients: Tomatoes, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, habanero pepper, fresh parsley, fresh organic marjoram, salt |
| Made with: madness |
Highlights: spicy but not too hot - parsley is a palate cleanser that neutralizes the heat of the pepper.
|
| The Story: Typical of central Italy, this sauce has the characteristic of being hot, after all, Arrabbiata means "mad" in Italian. Although tolerance to spiciness is very subjective, this sauce will not overwhelm your palate. Enjoy this beautiful blend of flavors: the freshness of parsley, a hint of hand picked organic marjoram, and the "madness" of the habanero. |
| Recipe Suggestions: Enjoy this sauce over penne pasta for the traditional recipe or bake it in over chicken or fish for a change. |

| Your customer service has been exemplary. Zac C., MA |
| I used to make my own pasta sauce from fresh tomatoes constantly, and I hate to admit to being lazy, but this stuff is so good that it makes it unnecessary to go to the trouble. If you start eating out of the jar, be careful because you may not be able to stop yourself. |

| I am a big fan of your products. I first learned of them at Whole Foods in Wayne, PA. They did a demo with their cornmeal crusts, your Pizza Sauce, sautéed onions, toasted pine nuts, fresh basil and goat cheese and made the MOST wonderful hors d’ouvres pizza. I have made it many times and have given the recipe out to numerous people. ( I have a recipe exchange group that is comprised of 75 people from all over the country). Susan, MD |

Unexpected and delightful, this new flavor is neither overwhelmingly minty nor heavy. It is a welcomed twist on an old favorite – freedom to create and enjoy new recipes with this flavorful and easy to use sauce – just in time for summer. |
| Ingredients: Mint, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino Romano, pinenuts, salt & pepper |
| Made with: freedom |
Highlights: Popular sauce in Northern Italy. Offers many uses and though the recipe is unfamiliar, one taste and you will be back for more!
|

...Tomato & Basil Sauce
This red sauce is at the heart of Italian cuisine – for the family, an everyday basic at the table, with love. |
Ingredients: Tomatoes, onions, extra virgin olive oil, basil, salt & pepper
|
| Made with: a touch of love |
Highlights: No garlic. Mild, natural flavor - Northern Italian sauce - onion based -, low fat, no cholesterol
|
| The Story: The tomato: Italians were actually the first Europeans to recognize the culinary potential of tomatoes in the mid-eighteen century. The discovery is credited to Corrado, the innovative chef of the Neapolitan bourbon court. These early tomatoes were yellow (hence the name "golden apple"-pomodoro) and quite different from the fruit, as we know it today. They were small and oval; more like plum tomatoes but ribbed lengthwise like a pumpkin. |

|
| Ingredients: Tomatoes, garlic, black olives, capers, extra virgin olive oil, habenaro pepper, organic parsley, organic marjoram, salt & pepper |
| Made with: desire |
Highlights: The olive lover’s sauce. We substituted habanero pepper for the classic anchovy to keep the sauce vegetarian and cater to the American taste (majority rules – no anchovies!) Low fat. No cholesterol.
|
| The Story: Adding another Italian classic to our product line, Puttanesca comes from the expression puttanaio which, to put it modestly, translates into “a lot of things going on at the same time”. The rich combination of flavors: garlic, black olives, capers and fresh herbs come from the tradition of southern regional cooking. |
| Recipe Suggestions: Use it over pasta or to add some spice to chicken, fish…or your relationship – just heat and serve, or bake it in. |

...Pink Sauce
This sauce is gracious in its color and texture and it immediately recollects the charm of Italy. Our version of the famed Tuscan Vodka sauce. |
| Ingredients: Tomatoes, onions, extra virgin olive oil, basil, cream, salt & pepper |
| Made with: grace and charm |
Highlights: Cream sauce but not heavy - cream is added for texture and richness
|
| The Story: The word "sauce" comes from the Latin: salsus, meaning "salted". Not to worry though, as the old Roman connection is in name only. Pasta sauce is usually called sugo in Italian. In the north, milk or cream sauces are prominent; their gracious texture and richness are the perfect complement for the light, delicate fresh pasta northerners prefer. |
| Recipe Suggestions: Enjoy this tasty sugo with a fresh pasta, in lasagna, over seared scallops or other white fish. |

| I was just recently in Boston and brought home several of your pasta sauces. I love them!! Is there any where in the Wichita KS area I can buy your sauces. I would like to share them with all my friends. Pat S., KS |
| I bought a two-pack of your sauces at BJ's Wholesale Club on Friday. I had the vodka sauce that night, and it was so good I wanted to eat it with a spoon and ignore the butternut squash ravioli I was eating (which was pretty tasty too ...but didn't hold a candle to the sauce). Nice work. I make my own sauce and I also use prepared sauces, but I'm used to some type of aftertaste with bottled sauces - so it was refreshing to taste something as good as homemade but with no fuss. Jennifer J., MA |
| The product containers are thick plastic with a screw on lid that could also be reused. I washed a couple in my DW and they held up perfectly. As for the flavor and quality-WOW! the tomato cream base is good right out of the jar by itself. Peggy, VA |
